The prominent Egyptian geologist Dr. Zaghloul El-Naggar passed away in Jordan after a battle with illness, according to an announcement on his official social media accounts. He was 92 years old. His family announced that the funeral prayer and the burial will be held on Monday, November 10, in Jordan.
Born in November 1933, Dr. El-Naggar graduated with honors from the Faculty of Science, Cairo University, in 1955. He was awarded the Dr. Mustafa Baraka Prize in Earth Sciences and served as a Fellow and Board Member of the International Islamic University. He was also among the founders of the World Association for Scientific Miracles in the Quran and Sunnah.
