Diaa Rashwan, President of the State Information Service, said the Sharm el-Sheikh Peace Summit, chaired by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, and U.S. President Donald Trump, receives wide global media attention. In a Sunday statement, Rashwan said 232 journalists and correspondents from foreign media have been registered to participate in the media coverage of the Sharm el-Sheikh Summit.
These reporters represent 88 of of largest international media outlets of all languages, including 18 the most important news agencies in the world, 36 widespread television networks, and 18 of the most important newspapers from all continents of the world. Of the media institutions, 14 are American, 32 from Europe, 22 Asian, and 17 Arab.
The Press Center for Foreign Correspondents has facilitated all means of support for this large number of representatives of foreign media to report an integrated picture of this summit, as well as the historical role of Egypt to achieve peace in the region. He also pointed out Egypt’s ability to carry out all organizational and logistical aspects to hold this large world summit within a short time and at the highest level.
